Student Recognition Program For many schools, student leadership is a key component of their intramural program. These students are responsible for a variety of duties including setting up the equipment, putting it away, cleaning the gym, officiating, timing and scoring. In addition, these students promote the program throughout the school by creating posters, making announcements and visiting class rooms. All of this in an effort to get more students involved. Raise the Bar is now helping schools recognize the invaluable contributions that these students make. Inclusive programs like intramurals help make the school a more positive, engaging and safe place to be for everyone. To recognize our student intramural leaders, Raise the Bar is offering each school 8 t-shirts for these students plus additional shirts for staff that are likewise involved in the organization, implementation and supervision of the intramural program. To receive these shirts a school leader must submit a brief - 2 - 3 sentence - description of their intramural program along with shirt sizes. All sizes are ADULT and come in small, medium, large and extra large. You should receive the shirts in 2 - 3 weeks. These shirts may be 'free', but are in fact paid for many times over by the great work that students and staff do to provide all students with an opportunity to be physically active and engaged in their school communities. If you have questions or if you want to get some shirts please email Steve Friesen at stevefriesen@rogers.com
